Will it rub off on my clothes or sheets?
No. Shimma is formulated with black seed oil that absorbs into your skin instead of sitting on top - which is why it doesn't transfer. Let it set for about 10 minutes before getting dressed and it stays on your skin, not your outfit. This was the #1 thing we made sure to get right.
How long does it last before I need to reapply?
One application lasts up to 72 hours. It's waterproof and sweat-proof - you can shower, swim, and work out without it coming off. When you're ready to remove it, gentle soap and warm water does the job.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Shimma is dermatologically tested, fragrance-free, and free from parabens and harsh chemicals. If you have very reactive skin, we recommend a small patch test on your inner arm first - wait 30 minutes and if there's no irritation, you're good to go everywhere.
How do I remove it?
Any oil-based cleanser, micellar water, or even coconut oil breaks it down gently. Apply to the area, massage for 15–20 seconds, and wipe off with a warm cloth. It comes off cleanly without scrubbing or irritating your skin. Regular soap and water will gradually fade it over a few days if you prefer to let it wear off naturally.
